Security

How the IMPulse protects your communication: encryption, two modes and hardware-level security.

Encryption to the core

The IMPulse uses the Voice over Blockchain Protocol (VoBP) and proven, public cryptographic standards. No marketing — just what it actually does.

01

AES-256

Symmetric encryption of your calls and messages with a 256-bit key.

02

Extended Triple Diffie-Hellman (X3DH)

Secure key exchange to establish a shared secret key.

03

Double Ratchet

Keys that rotate per message — the same principle modern secure messengers use.

04

Asymmetric keys

Public/private key pairs for identity and authentication.

05

Private Key (physical)

A physical key unlocks the device and your data — also on another IMPulse device.

06

Worm Guard

Blocks the installation of malicious programs; the OS refuses external apps.

Private Key

Private Key (physical)

A physical key unlocks the device and your data — also on another IMPulse device.

Two modes, one device

Privacy mode & Unsecure mode

Privacy mode

Secured

Communicate through your Matrix ID — encrypted calls, messages and video calls, even without a SIM card over wifi. For everything that must stay private.

Unsecure mode

Regular SIM

A normal SIM card for everyday calls. Note: regular calls and texts can — as with any phone — be intercepted.
